★Pickup: Examples of FPGA use that are ideal for automotive Zone ECUs and PDBs
Lattice FPGA can also solve the IPD control issues that increase with the shift to SDV.
By expanding GPIO to create a smaller microcontroller and achieving low latency control through parallel processing, we can optimize Zone ECUs and PDBs and reduce costs.

Nexus Series: Achieves low heat generation and high-speed communication using the FD-SOI process
This is an FPGA that uses the latest FD-SOI process and has ultra-low power consumption in the 25KLC to 100KLC range.
Its greatest strength is its ability to process PCIe, SGMII, SLVS-EC, DP/eDP, CoaXPress, etc. while keeping power consumption low.
The Nexus platform, which uses the FD-SOI process, has the following features compared to FPGAs of the same size:
Ultra-low power consumption: consumes up to 1/4 the power of products of the same size that use conventional FinFET processes
- Soft error resistance: 100 times more resistant to soft errors than products of the same size that use conventional FinFET processes
- Small package: Package size as small as 6mm square

MachXO series: One-chip type with built-in Flash and abundant 3.3V I/O
This is the most widely adopted series among Lattice products.
This FPGA mainly uses general-purpose logic and also supports high-speed interfaces such as LVDS/MIPI.
The configuration memory is a rewritable FLASH type, and field updates are possible on the board via I2C or SPI.

ECP5 Certus series: Mid-range computing
Equipped with a DSP block and supporting DDR3 memory I/F, it is also possible to implement calculation circuits for image processing, etc.
We also offer a series equipped with high-speed transceivers (SERDES).
The internal logic supports up to 100KLC.

iCE40 series: Ultra-compact, low power consumption, with dimensions as small as 1.4mm x 1.4mm
This is an ultra-compact FPGA with a minimum size of 1.4mm square. It is useful when minimal logic is required on a board.
The static current is less than a microamp.
