Realization of low heat generation and high speed communication using FD-SOI process Nexus series
FPGA using the latest FD-SOI process with ultra-low power consumption within the scale of 25KLC to 100KLC.
The greatest strength is that it can process PCIe, SGMII, SLVS-EC, DP/eDP, CoaXPress, etc. while suppressing power consumption.
Adopting the FD-SOI process, Lattice's Nexus platform has the following advantages over similar scale FPGAs:
・Ultra-low power consumption: Up to 1/4 the power consumption of products of the same scale using conventional FinFET processes
・Tolerance to soft errors: More than 100 times more tolerant to soft errors than products of the same scale using conventional FinFET processes
・Small package: Minimum package size of 6 mm square
