Rajant (KINETIC MESH network) vs LTE vs Wi-Fi

LTE and Wi-Fi have distance limitations to the base stations and access points to which client devices connect, so in order to build a wide-area network, it is necessary to increase the number of base stations and access points. In contrast, with Rajant's Kinetic Mesh network, each device plays the role of both client and infrastructure, allowing for a dynamic wireless mesh network to be built. In areas where network nodes of the Kinetic Mesh network are installed, the area is covered by using the Wi-Fi access point function supported by Rajant devices, and regular Wi-Fi client devices (such as smartphones and handheld terminals) can also be used.

Rajant vs Local 5G

Local 5G is a means of building a high-speed, robust network, but its introduction requires the construction of dedicated base stations (distance restrictions due to obstructions), complex license applications, the construction of a communication network that requires high technical capabilities, and the devices used at the edge must also be 5G compatible, making rapid introduction difficult. In contrast, with Rajant, it is possible to quickly build and introduce a high-speed, robust network using the ISM band used for Wi-Fi, etc. There is no need for the initial costs and complex labor required for local 5G introduction. Rajant's BreadCrumb series of devices includes robust devices for infrastructure and small devices suitable for implementation in robots, etc., making it possible to build a flexible network compared to local 5G solutions.
