Issues before introduction
  • Recently, with the increase in cloud services, I have come to feel the limits of DC-centric inter-site networks.
  • It has become difficult to control the conventional inter-base network
  • In order to respond to the Olympics/Paralympics and COVID-19 (COVID-19), a network environment that could support the telework system was required.

Solution with Cato Cloud
  • Problems with networks and cloud services were visualized, we were able to grasp the situation by ourselves, and the speed of solving problems was greatly improved.
  • Realized an infrastructure that integrates network and security functions that embody SASE

  • Stabilizing the telework environment
    • We implemented 5,000 mobile client licenses across 29 locations, resolving delays and web conferencing problems caused by high access volume.
  • Reduced operational burden and faster processing
    • By integrating network equipment and visualizing communications, we can now immediately identify the cause of problems (such as spikes from specific users or applications) in-house.
  • Increased flexibility
    • By having our own control over cloud configurations, we can now respond flexibly to new network requests from each department.
