Cato Networks
Cato Networks
Cato Cato Networks was founded in Israel in 2015 and is a SASE (Secure access Service Edge, proposed by Gartner in 2019) service provider. In 2023, the company was rated as a Challenger in Gartner's Single Vendor SASE Survey. The company has now launched the world's first SASE-integrated XDR (Xtended Detection and Response) service.
XDR is a service that provides quick and centralized threat detection, investigation, and response in a zero trust access environment across organizations and locations, eliminating alert fatigue, missed detections, delayed responses, and operational complexity.
It is a service that monitors, detects, and provides countermeasures for various behaviors within an organization, and Cato SASE XDR can process data simply and quickly thanks to its integrated security sensors and huge data lake cloud service based on SASE.
It is expected that this will significantly improve the operational efficiency of IT and security departments, which are said to be suffering from a shortage of personnel.
Native sensors for rapid and advanced threat detection

XDR dashboard provided in the same GUI as the SASE management screen
Cato SASE XDR provides a dashboard that gives an instant overview of an organization's threat information. An organization's network and security personnel can quickly determine what threats exist at the moment and know how to respond. Threat behavior is detected using CATO's huge data lake, machine learning, and external information, and generative AI can provide accurate response methods. Threat countermeasure priorities can be immediately addressed by specifying threat priorities, time periods, and groupings.

Rapid Threat Analysis with Cato SASE XDR
By using the "Story" analysis screen, you can know the path that led to the threat determination, that is, the steps taken by the threat, and the response steps become clear. The story also displays a report based on the MITRE-ATT&CK framework, which is used to counter cyber attacks, allowing cybersecurity personnel to make a decision quickly. Thanks to former employees of the Israeli military security department and machine learning using a data lake, summaries and other similar stories are also displayed on the analysis screen, allowing you to investigate threat information more broadly.
