Borax SOM is a business-card-sized system-on-module that integrates the memory, power supply, and external interfaces necessary for the system, centering on the Cyclone® V SoC.
The Cyclone V SoC is a new SoC that integrates two ARM® Cortex®-A9 cores and an FPGA fabric, making it easy to develop complex systems that combine advanced application processing with the flexible hardware of FPGAs.
As long as pin-compatible packages are used, SOMs with configurations necessary for system requirements such as FPGA size and memory capacity are available, and SOMs with optimal price and performance can be used even during mass production.
We also provide baseboards with various interfaces that can be used during development. While developing peripheral hardware, software and FPGA can be developed at the same time, leading to shorter development times.
