*(1) Quartus® Prime Programmer and Tools supports 32-bit version only for Windows® 7 SP1 in Standard and Lite Editions.

*(2) ModelSim* - Altera® FPGA Edition software and ModelSim* - Altera® FPGA Starter Edition software only support Windows* 8.

*(4) When using Nios® II Software Build Tools for Eclipse (hereafter Nios® II SBT) / Intel SoC FPGA Embedded Development Suite (hereafter SoC EDS) with Quartus® Prime Pro Edition 19.1, install Eclipse and Cygwin separately. need to do it. Please see this content for details.

*(5) Windows* users with Quartus® Prime Pro Edition 19.2 or higher and Quartus® Prime Standard/Lite Edition 19.1 or higher download Windows* Subsystem for Linux (WSL) for Windows* 10 and Windows* Server to install. *(6) For Linux users using Quartus® Prime Pro Edition 19.2 or later and Quartus® Prime Standard/Lite Edition 19.1 or later, install Eclipse for Nios® II development. Please see this content for details.

*(7) Support for ModelSim* - Altera® FPGA Edition and ModelSim* - Altera® FPGA Starter Edition has ended for Quartus® Prime Pro Edition 21.3 and later and Quartus® Prime Standard/Lite Edition 21.1 and later.

*(8) This OS is deprecated as it will be deprecated in a future version of Quartus® Prime. We recommend migrating to a newer version.

*(9) For Windows* OS support information for Quartus® II, please refer to archived materials.

*(10) Specific versions and build environments are recommended for Windows* 10 and Windows* 11, and specific SP (Service Pack) environments are recommended for SUSE SLE.
