When developing with Altera® FPGAs, if you use paid software such as Quartus® Prime design software, paid intellectual property (IP), or Questa* - Altera® FPGA Edition, you will need a license file for that product. After purchase, you (the license administrator) will obtain the license file from the manufacturer's dedicated website, the FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center. If this is your first time signing in to the FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center, please register in advance.
This page explains howto register for the FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center.

When obtaining a paid license from the FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center, please sign in with the account created with the "License Administrator Email Address" you provided to your distributor at the time of purchase.
There are two work menus.
Sign in to your Intel account
Go to the Intel homepage and click on the human icon in the top right corner of the screen.
A sign-in screen will appear, so enterthe email addressyou registered when creating your account and click [Next].

If you don't have an Intel account, learn how to sign up for one.
Sign-in is completed through the authentication system of Microsoft Azure AD.
If you have trouble signing in, visit Customer Support Please contact us.

If the email address of the existing sign-in account is a shared address, it is not currently available.
It is necessary to change the email address of the administrator to an email address that can be signed in, so please contact our person in charge.
Register in License Center
1. Click the link below to go to the License Center sign-in page.
FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center
2. The License Center sign-in page will appear.
Click [Enroll for Intel® FPGA Self Service Licensing Center (SSLC)] on the right side of the screen.
3. The following screen will appear.
Select the appropriate item from the [Profession] drop-down list (e.g., FPGA Engineering) and click [Nesxt].
4. A confirmation screen will appear. If there are no problems, click [Submit].
5. The following message is displayed.
6. After a while, you will receive an email stating that your registration is complete.
This completes your registration with the FPGA Self-Service Licensing Center.
Sign in to License Center
1. Click the link below to go to the FPGA Self-Service License Center sign-in page.

2. Click [Already enrolled? - Sign In here] on the left side of the sign-in page.
4. Access is completed when the top page of the license center is displayed.
