What can USB Type C actually do?
There are three major features of USB Type C.
- Compatible with reversible
- High power can be supplied by Power Delivery function
- Data such as video output can also be transferred
The big advantage of the above is that it allows you to combine many cables, such as HDMI and power cables, into one. However, there are various types of USB Type C, from devices that only supply power, such as portable batteries, to products that transmit both power and data.
In this article, we will introduce USB Type C Solutions depending on the usage method, including block diagrams, proposed devices, and their features. The usage method is as follows.
【how to use】
1. Only charging portable batteries etc.
2. Speed up data transfer USB3.1/USB3.2 Gen1/Gen2
3.Alternative Mode that can also output video
1. Only charging portable batteries etc.
By using the Type C Controller, you can charge a lithium-ion battery from the USB Type C terminal, or send power from the lithium-ion battery to an external device through the USB Type C terminal. In addition, the power can be transmitted up to 240W using the Power Delivery function.
