Customers considering purchasing Forescout's eyeInspect (formerly SilentDefence) can perform a pre-deployment evaluation. Please note that we may ask you about the situation in advance if you wish to try it.

Trial overview
The verification license for eyeInspect (formerly SilentDefence) is a virtual appliance license. The virtual appliance version license image file contains both the command center and the monitoring sensor.
Trial procedure
We will issue a verification license free of charge to customers who wish to try eyeInspect (formerly SilentDefence). Please note that we may ask you about the situation in advance if you wish to try it.
- We will set the purpose of verification with the customer based on past cases.
- We will clarify the functions to be verified.
- We will also consult with you about the output after the verification is completed.
- We will provide a verification license for the virtual appliance version.
- Please prepare the verification environment and virtual machine by the customer.
- It is possible for us to set up a verification license.
- A learning period (to acquire the communication to be learned in advance by the sensor) is required at the start of verification.
- We will visit you at the time of introduction (at the start of learning) and two weeks after the introduction (after completion of learning) to explain how to use it.
- Additional support will be provided according to the verification function.
- After the verification, we would appreciate it if you could have a meeting with the customer and give us your feedback.
- We will present the output related to verification as necessary. (Consultation required)
- We will discuss how to proceed and the schedule based on the verification.

Validation license hardware must be VMware ESXi version 5 or later.

It is necessary to set the host name, IP address, gateway, and subnet mask for the management interface of the verification license. You will also need to change the following Firewall settings.
