The eyeManage license is provided free of charge to license purchasers. However, you will need to purchase the 5100 series separately as hardware.
As a general rule, we recommend making eyeManage redundant.

Information required to determine the number of licenses and configuration

  • Number of terminals managed (visualized and controlled) by Forescout
    1. *Terminal here means "thing that Forescout identifies by MAC address or IP address, or both information". Therefore, terminals with multiple MAC/IP addresses, such as terminals with multiple NICs, may be counted for that number.
  • Type of license used (e.g. eyeSight, eyeControl, etc.)

Information needed for appliance sizing

  • Total number of devices to manage
  • Total number of linked switches/access points
  • Traffic to be monitored (Gbps): Only when analyzing communication from the mirror port
