"Mpression CiP-1" (model: CiP-1) is an IoT/M2M sensor shield that applies inductive sensor technology and realizes a non-contact strain sensor.
CiP-1 can be used as an evaluation application for information analysis platforms based on environmental data by measuring ambient temperature, humidity, and illuminance while detecting metal strain and information, and detecting information such as missing screws indoors and outdoors. It is assumed that
CiP-1 is equipped with Texas Instruments (TI) inductive sensor (model: LDC1612), illuminance sensor (model: OPT3001), and humidity/temperature sensor (model: HDC1000).
In addition to sensor evaluation, it is also possible to acquire various sensor information via Wi-Fi by connecting CiP-1 to TI's evaluation kit CC3200MOD LaunchPad.
Features
- By applying an inductive sensor that can detect the distance to an object in submicron units, slight strain can be detected without contact.
- It is possible to acquire environmental data when strain occurs by installing various sensors such as temperature, illuminance, humidity, etc.
- Sensor data acquired by connecting TI product CC3200MOD Launch Pad and CiP-1 can be monitored via Wi-Fi
