At the HARTING K.K. (hereinafter referred to as "HARTING") booth at JIMTOF2022, which was held for a total of six days from Tuesday, November 8th to Sunday, November 13th, 2022, a demonstration of equipment failure symptom monitoring using the semiconductor strain sensor STREAL was exhibited.

The photo shows a demonstration of wirelessly transmitting data sensed by Macnica 's STREAL using a HARTING Industrial Raspberry Pi (MICA-R) and a 920MHz sub-gigabit wireless module. This makes it possible to wirelessly monitor equipment for signs of malfunction. MICA-R has a proven track record in industrial applications, and is capable of not only sensing when connected to various sensors, but also linking to a PLC using CODESYS® and image processing when connected to a USB vision camera.
