Let's experiment with ADALM2000!

ADALM2000: See, Touch, and Understand Electronic Circuit Evaluation

The ADALM2000 is a multi-function measurement module from Analog Devices aimed at education and learning. It combines the functionality needed for evaluating electronic circuits, including an oscilloscope, signal generator, and logic analyzer, into a single unit.

In this series, we will introduce you to the ADALM2000, a portable laboratory that lets you visually understand the operation of electronic circuits. Even without expensive measuring equipment, with just a PC and this one device, you can easily, deeply, and enjoyably explore the world of circuits.

What you can experiment with and learn

EVAL-KW4502Z

Op-amps (e.g. ADA4077, ADA4522, LT1782 etc.) Low Frequency Noise Performance can be evaluated.

EVAL-KW4503Z

ADA4510-2 TIA (Transimpedance Amplifier) It is configured as Change in phase margin due to differences in compensation capacitance (Unstable, 45 °, 70 ° or more).

ADALP2000
  • Analog circuit construction and measurement
    • Build operational amplifier circuits, transistor amplifiers, sensor circuits, etc., and measure and analyze them with ADALM2000
  • Electronic component characterization
    • Experiment with diode IV characteristics, transistor operation, LED response, etc.
  • Educational and prototyping applications
    • Providing an environment where students and engineers can easily design and verify circuits
AD-M2KPWR-EBZ

This is an expansion board that increases the output current of the ADALM2000, which is normally around 50mA, to a maximum of 700mA.

It can also be used for circuit experiments that drive larger loads and for devices that require power, such as motors and LED arrays.

ADALM-SR1
  • Learning about Switching Regulators
    • Learn about the configuration and operating principles of step-down and step-up converters.
    • Through actual circuit configuration, you can experience the difference between open-loop and closed-loop control, peak current mode control, and more.
ADALM-BUCK-ARDZ
  • Observing the Basic Operation of a Buck Converter
    • You can experience voltage conversion (high voltage to low voltage) through switching operation using an actual circuit.
    • You can use it in combination with an Arduino UNO compatible device to perform PWM control and check the behavior of voltage mode control.
AD-M2KBNC-EBZ
  • Adapter board that allows connection to oscilloscopes and test leads
  • This allows evaluation using probes instead of jumper wires.
    • 2 channels of single-ended input / output
    • You can also change it to differential input by changing the jumper.
