Silicon Labs Bluetooth®: Can the Debug Lock (read protection) be removed from user code?
As a tamper-resistant feature, the BGM1xx has a Lock Bit (LB) page.
The Lock Bit page allows you to restrict read/write/erase to flash memory and User Data.
To release the LB once set, it is necessary to connect from an external tool (Simplicity Studio, Simplicity Commander, etc.) and unlock (delete all). It cannot be unlocked from user code.
This matter is also described on the Silicon Labs community site, so please check that as well.
For Lock Bit, please refer to another topic (EFM32: What is the Lock Bit (LB) page?).
