Silicon Labs: Is it possible to measure the current consumption of the SENSOR-PUCK?
Yes, with the EFM32 Starter Kit.
For the procedure, please refer to "Procedure for measuring the current consumption of the user board" in the"EFM32 Quick Start Guide"created by our company. In order to make current measurements, the VMCU must be powered from the starter kit, but the VMCU should be connected to TP1 (PWR) of the SENSOR-PUCK and SW1 of the SENSOR-PUCK should be OFF. Details on how to operate the SENSOR-PUCK with an external power supply are introduced in anothertopic.
Note that the starter kit with Cortex-M0+ does not support the current measurement function, so please use the one with M3 or M4F.
