Intel: Should pins marked as GND in the Pin-Outs file provided by the Hard Memory Controller (HMC) in the "HMC Pin Assignment for DDR3/DDR2" section be connected to GND?

Yes, pins marked as GND in HMC Pin Assignment for DDR3/DDR2 should be connected to GND.
The corresponding pin will be processed in the same way as the "Unused Pin" setting.
