You can change the IP settings using the GUI in one of the following ways:

<Method 1>

Select Project menu ⇒ Upgrade IP Components in Quartus® Prime.
Highlight the IP you want to edit from the pop-up screen and click Upgrade in Editor at the bottom right of the screen.
After editing, click Finish at the bottom right of the IP setting screen.

From the Quartus® Prime Project Navigator IP Components tab, highlight the IP name you want to edit, right-click and select Edit in Parameter Editor.
After editing, click Finish at the bottom right of the IP setting screen.

Quartus® Prime File menu ⇒ Open and select <ip_name>.v or <ip_name>.vhd. At this time, select Open as: Auto.
After editing, click Finish at the bottom right of the IP setting screen.
