Analog Devices Switching Regulators: I think the advantage of the burst mode setting is high efficiency at light loads, but are there any disadvantages when the load increases?
When used in burst mode setting, it operates in burst mode at no load or light load. However, when the load increases, it automatically switches to Forced Continuous mode operation, so there is no demerit due to the difference in setting mode.
