A DCM is an isolated, highly efficient, regulated DC-DC converter.
It utilizes a high frequency zero voltage switching (ZVS) topology and operates from a wide range of unregulated inputs to produce an isolated output.
Modular DCM converters and downstream DC-DC products support efficient power distribution and provide superior power system performance and connectivity from a variety of unregulated sources to point of load.
DCM ChiP modules leverage the thermal and density advantages of Vicor ChiP packaging technology to provide flexible thermal management options with very low top and bottom thermal impedances. The DCM VIA module can also be used as a secondary reference control interface while retaining the integrated EMI filtering, tight output voltage regulation, and fundamental design advantages of traditional brick architecture.
