This is an introduction of a high power density and high efficiency isolated DC-DC converter with a fixed voltage conversion ratio (no regulation function). With a wide input voltage range of 48V-800V and various voltage conversion ratio K values, it can be used in many applications.

Product Summary

The intermediate bus converter BCM® series is a high power density, high efficiency isolated DC-DC converter with a fixed voltage conversion ratio (no regulation function).

 

The BCM series is available in two packages, ChiP and VIA packages. VIA packaged products have features such as PMBus™ control interface, EMI filtering, and transient protection.

The BCM series has a wide input voltage range of 48V-800V and various voltage conversion ratio K values, so it can be used for many applications.

High efficiency and high power density are achieved by using the unique switching method SAC® (Sine Amplitude Converter) technology.

By connecting in parallel, it is possible to handle high power, and by connecting isolated outputs in series, it is possible to output high voltage.

Due to the bi-directional conversion characteristics, by moving the capacitor placed on the low output voltage side to the input side, the large capacity capacitor required for the load can be reduced.
