DisplayLink is a codec technology that compresses/encodes images with low latency and transmits them via USB.
This technology makes it easy to output video to multiple displays simply by connecting a PC (computer) via USB. Synaptics' DisplayLink ICs for embedded products are bridge ICs that bridge USB, Ethernet, and video interfaces, and support a wide range of products, from single-display USB 2.0 setups to 5K displays, USB 3.0 docking stations, and wireless display solutions.
