Product Summary
"Si826x" is a gate driver product that is ideal for driving power MOS FETs and IGBTs used in inverters and motor control.
It uses a capacitive isolation structure with a silicon oxide film used in general semiconductor processes, and supports a maximum withstand voltage of 5.0 kV based on UL1577. Higher performance, reduced temperature and aging variations, tighter part-to-part matching, and better common-mode rejection. The input circuit incorporates a unique LED emulator circuit, enabling efficient current drive control even with a small drive current. Furthermore, the delay time is short and there is little variation, so flexible input circuit design can be expected.
The Si826x offers high reliability in isolated circuits with longer life expectancy such as industrial equipment. SO8, DIP8, and SDIP6 are available as package options.

- Peak output current: 0.6A or 4.0A
- Wide VDD Range: 5V to 30V
- UVLO options with hysteresis: 5, 8, 12V
- AEC-Q100 test compliant (Separately, Automotive products are also available)
- Uses a capacitive insulation method that has little deterioration due to temperature, so there is little deterioration over time.
- Operating temperature range: -40°C to 125°C

Target application
In general, photocouplers using LEDs tend to have poor propagation delay characteristics in high temperature environments.
The Si826x, a digital isolator that uses an LED emulator, is a gate driver that can be driven with the same current as a photocoupler, but can provide stable propagation delay characteristics even in environments from room temperature to high temperatures.
It is an ideal solution for industrial systems that are expected to be used in harsh environments such as high-temperature environments and long-term continuous operation.
