Announcing “SiTime Epoch Platform™”

“SiTime Epoch Platform™” is a new series of “OCXO/MEMS oscillators (oscillators with constant temperature oven)” that combine high precision and high reliability.

It was born as a product that solves the problems faced by crystal-based OCXOs and surpasses its performance.

People who use crystal-based OCXO products have concerns such as "insufficient holdover and aging performance," "large size," "high power consumption," and "high unit price."
You can solve various problems and problems.

 
This product series mainly has the following features.

・Holdover time: 8 hours (maximum 12 hours with aging compensation. Compared to other solutions → 2 times in real environment!)

・Aging deterioration: ±0.08 ppb/day (general crystal-based OCXO ratio → 1/3)

・Small size: 9mm x 7mm x 3.73mm (compared to typical crystal-based OCXO → footprint 1/9, height 1/3)

・Low power consumption: 420mW (compared to general crystal-based OCXO → 1/3)

Like SiTime's previous products, it is a MEMS oscillator, so you can see that it is much more reliable than crystal oscillators.
