Product Summary

The RL78/F24 realizes next-generation smart actuators and sensors, and low-end body ECUs that require high reliability. As an extension of the RL78/F1x, it can meet various market requirements with improved CPU performance, high temperature performance, and an enhanced peripheral function set.

It is also designed to comply with ISO 26262 and provides functional safety support for ASIL B. In terms of security, it supports EVITA-Light, and the AES encryption module can process key lengths up to 256 bits and supports secure boot and authentication. To further improve the computing performance of BLDC (FOC) motor control and DC/DC control systems, the RL78/F2x is equipped with a unique application accelerator IP that supports various arithmetic operations such as trigonometric functions.

To keep up with new E/E architecture trends, the RL78/F24 is equipped with a CAN FD interface. The RL78/F2x maintains high compatibility with the RL78/F1x in terms of hardware and software, enabling software reuse.
