PS8331
Integrated DisplayPort™ 2:1 multiplexer compatible with DisplayPort™ 1.2 and dual-mode DisplayPort™ signaling. DisplayPort™ link rates up to 5.4Gbps and Fast AUX are supported. When used for native DisplayPort™ signaling, the PS8331 acts as a redriver by link training with a downstream DisplayPort™ sink.
When used as a dual-mode upstream source, the PS8331 supports the use of AC-coupled TMDS signals with up to 300MHz TMDS clock rates, and support for DVI or HDMI™ sink devices through the use of downstream level shifter devices or external dual-mode cable adapters. make it possible.

PS8461
Integrated DisplayPort™ 2:1 multiplexer compatible with DisplayPort™ 1.4 and dual-mode DisplayPort™ signaling. An internal retimer circuit is used for jitter cleaning of both native DisplayPort™ signals and TMDS signals enabled by dual-mode operation. Supports DisplayPort™ link rates up to 8.1Gbps, supports TMDS data rates up to 6Gbps, and enables support for HDMI™ 2.0b operation up to 40K@60Hz.
When used for native DisplayPort™ signaling, the PS8461's main link output swing and pre-emphasis level respond to link training between the DisplayPort™ video source and downstream sink by using transparent repeater operation. When used as a dual-mode upstream source, the PS8461 supports dual-mode AC-coupled TMDS signals. This allows support for DVI or HDMI™ sink devices through the use of downstream level shifting devices such as dual-mode DP to HDMI™ adapters.

A dual-mode DisplayPort™ 2.1 2:1 retiming MUX designed for commercial and consumer PCs, host systems, and peripherals. VESA🄬 DP 2.1 compliant and supports DisplayPort™ 2.1 with up to 80Gbps total bandwidth. Featuring low power consumption in standby and low-power states, it helps extend the battery life of mobile devices and ensures EnergyStar compliance.
In addition to LTTPR, it also supports adaptive CTLE and DFE, helping system designers achieve robust DisplayPort™ topologies and optimized performance for video streaming. It is also compatible with DP dual mode supporting up to 12Gbps FRL, providing flexible connectivity for system video I/O ports.
