What are temperature sensors provided by NXP Semiconductors?
NXP offers temperature sensors that allow you to select devices based on "general purpose", "specific purpose", "package size", and "temperature accuracy".
It has the following features:
Some devices are pin-for-pin compatible with industry standard sensors, so please feel free to contact us for more information.
For general use
·High precision
- ±0.4℃, ±0.5℃
- Small package adopted
- WLCS4 area 0.8mm2 or less
- WLCS6 area 1.0mm2 or less
・I3C compatible
- Up to 12.5 times faster than I2C
For specific applications
- DDR3 temperature sensor
- Also available with 2K bit EEPROM
・Supports a wider temperature range
- -55℃ to +125℃
・You can set the initial value at startup.
- You can set Tos and Thyst
- Ideal for preventing false alarms during start-up under certain temperature conditions
・Remote/local dedicated temperature sensor
- A combination of remote and local sensors allows for temperature monitoring of the thermal diode inside the CPU or a diode connected to a PNP/NPN transistor
- Communication is possible via I2C and SMBus
