Getting Started with Zephyr OS from Scratch - Smooth Startup Methods and Practical Development Tips

This webinar will lower the barrier to entry for the currently popular embedded RTOS "Zephyr," and will also explain the OS overview, development methods, and practical security features.

Developing with Zephyr OS differs significantly from traditional development methods for microcontroller engineers, and they often encounter situations where they are confused by the development environment and its mechanisms.

To begin, NXP Japan will suggest the "first steps" to get started with Zephyr OS.
Following this, Lineo Solutions, specialists in Linux support, will introduce the Zephyr development environment (west command), application development procedures, and GUI development using LVGL (an open-source GUI library). They will also cover essential security aspects such as LTS (Long-Term Support), SBOM, vulnerability management, secure boot, and OTA.

Furthermore, based on examples of using a multi-OS configuration (OpenAMP) with Linux and Zephyr, we will discuss the potential applications of Zephyr in future embedded systems.
