I went to NVIDIA GTC 2025, a major event hosted by NVIDIA, which was held from March 17th to March 21st this year!

First of all, what is GTC?

GTC, an acronym for "GPUTechnologyConference,"is an event hosted by NVIDIA and held in San Jose, USA. Information on the latest AI technologies, products, and collaborations with ecosystem partners is shared, and AI industry experts, researchers, engineers, and business leaders from around the world gather at the event. The keynote speech by CEO and founder Jensen Huang, in particular, lasted two hours, but the SAP Center, where the event was held, was packed to capacity, and the event was a huge success, with 37 million views on YouTube as of the end of March.

Before the start

The event is usually very crowded, and I heard that it would be even more crowded this year. So I checked in the day before and arrived at 8am, two hours before the event was scheduled to start at 10am.

However, it was hard to believe that it had only been two hours before, and the line was already about 500 meters long.

Admission began around 8:30, and we were able to get inside around 9:00. The venue, SAP Center, is home to the San Jose Sharks ice hockey team, and has a maximum capacity of over 17,000 people, but when we entered, only the third floor seats were available. This clearly demonstrated NVIDIA's ability to draw customers.

As this was the main presentation of a major event, we listened to Jensen Huang's two-hour presentation with impressive screens and sound.

Scenes from the exhibition

The exhibition was held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. As meetings between various companies were also taking place in the surrounding area, the area was extremely crowded from start to finish. Once inside the exhibition, I was overwhelmed by its scale and construction. It was an extremely large-scale exhibition, with not only a huge booth from NVIDIA, the organizer, but also large-scale exhibits from each of its partners.
