CoaXPress 2.0 Compliant 12.5Gbps Transceiver/Receiver IC
The EQCO125X40 is a CoaXPress 2.0 compliant transceiver/receiver IC from Microchip Technology. High-resolution video signals captured by industrial cameras can be communicated at DownLink 12.5 Gbps and UpLink 40 Mbps with a single coaxial cable. In addition, power supply (maximum 13W) via coaxial cable is also possible.
Video signal transmission, power supply, and two-way data communication are possible on a single coaxial cable.
The EQCO125X40 enables video signal transmission, power supply, and two-way data communication (control) on a single coaxial cable, allowing you to configure a system that saves wiring and saves space.
Supports up to 130m (@1.25Gbps) even at 12.5Gbps transfer rate
DownLink is capable of high-speed communication up to 12.5Gbps. Data transmission is possible up to a distance of 130m (@1.25Gbps).
(Belden 1694A: 40m@12.5Gbps)
As a result, even for high-speed digital communication, which used to be difficult to transmit over long distances, it is possible to secure the necessary distance for wiring in the factory.
Temperature range for industrial applications
-40°C to +85°C temperature range for industrial applications. It can be used for applications such as factory and outdoor.
Package size of only 4mm x 4mm
The package is a 4mm x 4mm QFN 16 pin. It can be installed in devices with limited space.
