LiquidSecurity® 2 (LS2) HSM Adapter Overview
A Hardware Security Module (HSM) is a security device that performs the secure generation, storage, management, and cryptographic processing of encryption keys on dedicated hardware.
LiquidSecurity® 2 (LS2) is Marvell's cutting-edge HSM, a solution for general-purpose and payment applications that meets stringent compliance requirements. LS2 also utilizes Marvell's next-generation cloud-optimized silicon, delivering industry-leading cryptographic performance. Designed for cloud-scale deployment and cost-effectiveness, it offers the following features:
Main function
1. Clustering
LS2 adapters can be clustered across different regions, enabling high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR).
2. Multi-tenancy
It supports up to 42 cryptographically isolated partitions. Each partition can be assigned to an independent customer or application.
3. Multi-mode support
single HSM The following will be supported simultaneously:
NIST FIPS 140-3 (level 3) Compliant
PCI PTS HSM Compliance
・Non FIPS mode
*In non-FIPS mode, you can run your own applications and custom algorithms.
4. Platform Software Hosting
A flexible architecture utilizing virtual machines (VMs) allows custom applications and algorithms to run within the FIPS security perimeter.
