MCU for maximum design flexibility
Peripherals can be configured with pre-built library functions or you can create your own using the programmable architecture within the PSoC™ 4 device.
capacitive sensing
Infineon's CAPSENSE™ is an industry-leading capacitive sensor solution, ideal for applications such as touch buttons and sliders, proximity sensors, and water level sensing. Dedicated peripherals included in all PSoC™ 4 products with state-of-the-art noise immunity and water resistance.
Programmable analog block
Customize the analog front end with Programmable analog blocks consisting of op amps, comparators, ADCs, DACs, etc. to interface with various analog sensors and create complex analog signal flows. PSoC™ 4 also eliminates the need for external analog components, reducing time and cost.
Programmable digital block
Programmable digital blocks consist of universal digital blocks (UDBs), serial communication blocks (SCBs), and timer/counter/pulse width modulators (TCPWM). UDB allows customization of digital interfaces, state machines, and logic functions.
Wired and wireless connectivity
Wired connection interfaces such as CAN and USB can be used. For wireless connections, Bluetooth Low Energy can also be used. The PSoC™ 4 Bluetooth Low Energy with integrated balun for antenna matching simplifies RF board design and reduces PCB footprint area. Sample projects, development kits, and all Bluetooth Low Energy profiles and APIs are available to get your Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity up and running in minutes.
