MAX96792A: Dual GMSL3/2-Compatible CSI-2 Deserializer

The MAX96792A is a dual GMSL™ 3/2 serial input to MIPI CSI-2 converter. The device receives forward channel video data while simultaneously transmitting and receiving bidirectional control channel data over coaxial or shielded twisted pair (STP) cable. The GMSL3 serial link, based on PAM-4, operates at 12 Gbps forward and 187.5 Mbps reverse.

The MAX96792A is backward compatible with GMSL2 and can be paired with a 6Gbps or 3Gbps GMSL2 serializer. Each GMSL input operates independently and can receive video with different timing and resolutions. The two GMSL links can also operate at different data rates, and video data from both inputs can be aggregated and output onto a single CSI-2 port or duplicated to a second output port for redundant processing. The device is configured using either an IC or UART interface. GPIO, IC, UART, and SPI tunneling functions are also available. The device is AEC-Q100 qualified.

MAX96793: Single CSI-2 compatible GMSL3 serializer

The MAX96793 GMSL™ serializer receives video over a MIPI CSI-2 interface and outputs it to a GMSL2 or GMSL3 serial link transceiver, while also transmitting and receiving bidirectional control channel data over the same GMSL link.

GMSL2 and GMSL3 data can be transmitted over coaxial or shielded twisted pair (STP) cables. The GMSL2 link operates at a fixed rate of 3 Gbps or 6 Gbps forward and 187.5 Mbps reverse. The GMSL3 link operates at a fixed rate of 12 Gbps forward and 187.5 Mbps reverse. The device is programmable over the link via a local IC/UART interface or a compatible deserializer. The MAX96793 includes two IC/UART pass-through channels, flexible GPIOs, an SPI tunnel, an integrated ADC, a temperature sensor, and extensive diagnostic features for functional safety. It is AEC-Q100 Grade 2 qualified over the automotive operating temperature range of −40°C to +105°C.

ADXL366: Micropower, 3-Axis, ±2g/±4g/±8g Digital Output MEMS Accelerometer

The ADXL366 is an ultralow power, 3-axis micromachined electronics (MEMS) accelerometer that consumes only 0.96 μA at a 100 Hz output data rate and 191 nA in motion-triggered wake-up mode. Unlike accelerometers that achieve low power consumption through intermittent operation, the ADXL366 samples the full bandwidth of the sensor at all data rates rather than aliasing the input signal by undersampling.

The ADXL366 is capable of 14-bit output resolution. It also provides 8-bit formatted data for more efficient single-byte transfers when lower resolution is sufficient. ADXL362 Data is also provided in 12-bit format for design compatibility with other NI products. Measurement ranges are ±2g, ±4g, and ±8g, with a resolution of 0.25mg/LSB in the ±2g range.
