Quartus ® Prime design software is a development tool for designing Altera ® FPGAs.
It provides all the functions necessary for the FPGA development flow, from design entry to logic synthesis, placement and routing, timing verification, power consumption analysis, pin placement, and programming file generation.
Three Editions of Quartus® Prime
Quartus ® Prime development software is available in three editions: Pro, Standard, and Lite.
Each edition has different features and devices that can be used.

About the paid version of Quartus® Prime
The paid version of Quartus® Prime has only one product name: "SW-ONE-QUARTUS".
The "SW-ONE-QUARTUS" license allows you to use Quartus ® Prime Pro or Quartus ® Prime Standard.
The licenses are the same, but the software itself is different, so you will need to download it separately.
License settings and "License Management Security Ticket"
The license administrator can check licenses, generate license files, change PCs (rehost), renew maintenance, etc.
It's a task that should essentially only be done once a year, and if it goes wrong, only Altera can fix it.
Macnica sells the "License Management Security Ticket", which allows us to generate license files on your behalf and handle inquiries and requests to Altera.
