The monolithic die structure using a single die keeps costs down, while the use of the Intel 7 process allows for performance that exceeds previous high-end FPGAs while consuming less power than previous low-power FPGAs.

It is ideal for applications such as industrial control and vision systems, video and broadcast, networking and communications, and secure communications.

Agilex™ 5 is available in two series, D and E, based on the combination of performance and power consumption, with the E series further divided into Group A and Group B.
