The CT456 is an integrated, high-bandwidth, low-noise, contactless current sensor that uses Allegro MicroSystems' patented XtremeSense™ Tunneling Magneto-Resistance (TMR) technology to enable highly accurate current measurements in a multitude of consumer, enterprise and industrial applications. The CT456 supports a pre-programmed magnetic field range of 6mT where it senses the magnetic field and converts it into a linear analog output voltage.

This coreless current sensor is not only small and easy to design into, but also offers effective common mode rejection: due to its differential measurement, the CT456 has over 90% immunity to stray magnetic fields, which have little impact on the accuracy of the current measurement.

The CT456 is housed in an industry standard 8-lead Thin-shrink small-outline package (TSSOP) that is green procurement and RoHS compliant.
