The CT455 is an integrated, high-bandwidth, low-noise, contactless current sensor that uses Allegro MicroSystems' patented XtremeSense™ TMR technology to enable highly accurate current measurements in a multitude of consumer, enterprise and industrial applications. The CT455 supports two standard magnetic field ranges where it senses the magnetic field and converts it into a linear analog output voltage.

The CT455 is also available in a user-programmable version that allows end-offline calibration of gain and offset. The sensor is pre-programmed to compensate for temperature drift in gain and offset, but the ability to adjust offset and gain allows for relaxation of mechanical tolerances in sensor mounting.

Output response time is less than 300ns and current consumption is approximately 6.0mA. The CT455 is available in an 8-lead SOIC package and a very low profile industry standard 8-lead TSSOP package, and is green procurement and RoHS compliant.
