The ACS37610 provides a way to accurately measure 100A to over 4000A flowing through a busbar or PCB. It does not require a magnetic core or U-shaped magnetic shield, reducing system complexity, bill of materials (BOM), cost, footprint, and weight. Differential measurement provides superior immunity to stray magnetic fields, and eliminating the need for magnetic shielding reduces the effects of hysteresis and nonlinear errors.

The ACS37610 uses an advanced Hall element that provides 2.5x improvement in signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and 2x reduction in noise compared to the ACS37612, while achieving 1% accuracy over a wide ambient temperature range of-40°C to 150°C. The reduced noise provides superior resolution for precise torque control, while the sensor's 4x higher sensitivity range enables flexible busbar and PCB designs.

Overcurrent and overtemperature fault detection pins, 250kHz bandwidth, and numerous built-in diagnostic features make it ideal for safety-critical applications. Accuracy is improved through user programming, allowing the device to be optimized for the application and to cancel errors due to mechanical assembly tolerances.

The ACS37610 is available in a low-profile, 8-pin surface-mount TSSOP package (thin-shrink small outline package, suffix LU) ideal for space-constrained applications, allowing easy surface mounting.
