▼ Ideal for these customers ▼ \A popular product with a proven track record in automotive Ethernet evaluations and many repeat customers/ ・While 1000BASE-T1 has begun to be adopted in ADAS and next-generation gateway development, we are having trouble connecting it directly to evaluation PCs (RJ-45). We are considering SPE (Single Pair Ethernet) to reduce wiring in industrial equipment, but there is no readily available evaluation environment. We have evaluation equipment for 100BASE-T1, but we now need equipment that can also handle 1000BASE-T1. ...etc. |
|
▼ Customer Feedback ▼ "Extremely convenient for debugging and testing!" "Easy to check signal quality and link speed!" "Now an indispensable tool for automotive Ethernet evaluation!"

Product Summary
This product is a Media Converter (Media Converter) from Macnica technology brand "Mpression" that supports 1000BASE-T1 and 100BASE-T1, equipped with Broadcom's BCM89883 chip compliant with the automotive Ethernet standards IEEE802.3bp/802.3bw. For instructions on how to use it, please click here.
This product is also being used in demonstration experiments of Single Pair Ethernet, a communication technology that enables communication and power supply using a single pair of signal lines (one pair of conductors).
*For more details on the Single Pair Ethernet Consortium (SPEC), please click here.
There are two models available.
① [1000BASE-T1 Media Converter]This single device is all you need for future Ethernet speed increases. A type that supports both 1Gbps and 100Mbps is recommended!
This jig can convert an ECU (evaluation target) equipped with 1000BASE-T1 (Open Alliance BroadR-Reach, hereafter OABR) to 1000BASE-T, enabling operation at 1Gbps.
This jig converts an ECU (evaluation target) equipped with 100BASE-T1 (OABR) to 100BASE-TX, and can also operate at 100Mbps.
② [100BASE-T1 Media Converter]
This jig converts an ECU (evaluation target) equipped with 100BASE-T1 (OABR) to 100BASE-TX, enabling operation at 100Mbps.
