Licensing of Libero® SoC

The Libero® SoC software has a free version and a paid version license.

Libero® IDE License

The Libero® IDE software is available with a paid license.

License list

Table 1 is a list of licenses for each development tool.

[Free version]

Silver: Silver License. There is a limit to the size of devices that can be supported.

[Paid version]

Gold: Gold License. Some device families have restrictions.

Platinum: Platinum License. Full spec version without all restrictions.

Standalone: Standalone license. Only Libero is supported, for those who have logic synthesis and simulation separately.

***Archival: ***Archival License. Long term version.

License type

Table 2 is a list of license types for development tools.

There are two types of licenses available.

1. Node Locked DiskID

２. Floating MAC ID

Node Locked Disk ID is a license for a "Fixed" HDD ID and operates on a fixed PC. Supported OS: Windows.

Floating MAC ID assigns a license to a "Floating" (network) MAC ID (NIC ID) and operates on a license server and client PC. Supported OS: Windows or Linux.
