The Importance of XDR in Peacetime: Utilizing CTEM, a New Approach to Vulnerability Management
As the name suggests, the purpose of XDR is to detect and respond to cyber threats such as unauthorized access. In other words, it is a solution that focuses on responding to emergencies. As in our daily lives, it is important to prepare thoroughly in peacetime for emergencies and improve peacetime preparations based on emergency experiences in order to achieve higher safety. In security, too, continuous efforts are required in peacetime to manage and operate vulnerabilities in order to prevent attacks. In this session, we will introduce peacetime operations based on "Continuous Exposure Management" (CTEM), how to use peacetime information in emergencies (XDR), and the importance and concept of the cycle of using emergency experience to prepare for peacetime.
