Automated certificate management: CyberArk Certificate Manager (formerly Venafi)
CyberArk Certificate Manager is a solution that automates certificate issuance, deployment, management, and auditing.
Policy settings allow for detailed automation of which certificates are issued by which certification authority (CA) and applied to which systems. It also supports multiple public and private CAs, allowing automatic application to a variety of systems. It also has a function for checking the validity of certificates after application and for automatically detecting unmanaged certificates.
This is expected to significantly reduce management workload, prevent human error, and improve operational quality.
Flexible response to shortened validity periods
It has been decided that the validity period of certificates will be gradually shortened from 2026 onwards, and will be reduced to 47 days in 2029.
This will increase the number of certificate renewals from once a year to up to 10 times a year, making manual management difficult.
