The HW version is stored inside the EEPROM on the module.
The layout in the EEPROM is summarized below, so please refer to it.

For example, for Jetson Xavier NX, you can read EEPROM information via the I2C bus with the following command.
$ sudo i2cdump -f -y 0 0x50
