Four new functions installed in new stepping motor driver products
TI's new stepping motor driver products (including this product) are equipped with the following four new products that have never existed before.
- Automatic Microstepping : Microstep automatic interpolation function with a maximum resolution of 256 (improved rotation accuracy and quietness)
- Custom Microstepping: Customizable current profile according to motor torque characteristics (improved rotation accuracy)
- Silent Step Decay Mode: Adopts voltage mode control in the low speed range, enabling ideal sinusoidal current drive (quietness improvement)
- Auto-torque & Standstill Power Saving Mode: Automatically controls current according to dynamic load torque to improve efficiency and reduce IC and motor loss (higher efficiency)
This article also introduces other products with new features.
In addition, please download the materials that explain the principles of the four new functions in detail from the following.
