Secure Enterprise Browser

With much of the software provided as SaaS, browsers are used in a wide range of ways within the workplace, and the majority of work each day is carried out on a browser.

Browsers are an essential part of business, but at the same time they also present many challenges.
For example, threatening websites may send attacks that evade detection by existing network security products, or information may be leaked to the outside through generative AI sites.

This page introduces Menlo Security's "Secure Enterprise Browser" solution, which solves these browser-based issues.

Three functions

Menlo Security's Secure Enterprise Browser implements functions along three axes to provide end users with a secure enterprise browser.

1. PROTECT - Protect users from external threats

• Secure Cloud Browser filters out vulnerable content and displays only safe information in the browser
• Anti-phishing feature performs runtime analysis on websites and dynamically blocks zero-hour phishing sites
• When downloading encrypted files, the files inside are detected and blocked.

2. SECURE - Internal access and data security

• The ZTNA function allows you to set access policies for in-house applications for each user. This allows you to create a secure remote access environment by restricting writing and viewing for external contractors.
• DLP and copy/paste restriction functions restrict access to sites such as generative AI, preventing information leaks to the outside
• Forensic functions allow you to understand browser behavior, such as who typed what on which site

3. MANAGE - Manage browser settings

• Menlo Security does not install a dedicated browser, but runs on your local browser, such as Chrome or Edge.
• Browser Posture feature provides visibility into many local browser settings
• Change your local browser to a more secure setting, compared to industry benchmark secure policies​
