Since mid-December 2025, there has been a sharp increase in business email compromise (BEC) attacks in Japan, where emails impersonating the company president ask questions such as, "Are you at work now?" Because these attacks do not use links or attachments but only spoof the sender's name and text, they are difficult to detect using traditional email security techniques. This seminar will use actual attack examples to explain how a new detection method (Abnormal AI) based on AI-based "behavioral modeling" can identify and respond to these sophisticated impersonation attacks.
