They support VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling capabilities, making them the ideal top-of-rack switches for virtualized data centers. They also feature Open Network Installation Environment (ONIE) to support the installation of compatible Network Operating System (NOS) software, including open source options and commercial NOS products.
