Cribl is expected to reach centaur status in October 2023, making it the fourth fastest infrastructure company to do so. Currently (as of September 17, 2025), it has achieved an ARR of $200 million, and this high growth potential is one of the points of interest for Cribl.

The scale of investment that Cribl is receiving is also a point of interest for the company. With a large investment made in 2024, Cribl's total capital has exceeded $600 million. Major hedge funds such as GIC, CapitalG, IVP, and CRV have participated in the investment plan and made large investments, indicating high expectations from the industry.
Executives from Splunk
All three founders come from SIEM companies and combine technical backgrounds with deep knowledge of SIEM products. CEO Clint Sharp has experience working at major SIEM and IT companies and has extensive knowledge of IT and SIEM operations. He is also an outstanding manager, having grown Cribl, a company he founded, into a unicorn company.
The reason for Cribl's overwhelming growth
- An overwhelming number of data-linked products
Cribl Stream allows seamless data integration with various log sources and destinations, including Splunk, Elastic, Kafka, CrowdStrike, Datadog, and Elastic. The simplicity of data integration using these pre-defined connectors is also one of the reasons for Cribl's growth. Even if a connector is not available, integration is possible on a protocol-by-protocol basis, eliminating the challenges of complex log integration. - Real-time data integration
There's another reason why Cribl has achieved such overwhelming growth: its real-time data integration and data processing capabilities. With other pipeline products, the main role is to stream process large amounts of real-time data. However, Cribl enables large amounts of data to be integrated with multiple destinations, while also enabling appropriate data transformation and filtering. - Environmental flexibility
There are several other products besides Cribl that function as data pipelines, but why has Cribl established such an overwhelming position and growth rate? The author of a security magazine with over 60,000 analyst subscribers cites the flexibility of the environments that Cribl can support as one of the reasons. Cribl supports hybrid, cloud, and on-premise environments, and can also handle configurations that span multiple environments. He also evaluated it as having "the widest range of products and functions of all vendors," and third-party organizations have highly praised Cribl's potential compared to other products.
About Macnica and Cribl's business
We signed a distributor agreement with Cribl in 2024. We are currently the sole distributor in Japan, and have a track record of multiple domestic implementations.
