In recent years, there has been a rapidly growing need to perform advanced inference processing, including generative AI, in real time on the device itself in edge computing areas such as drones, robots, and vision AI systems. However, these devices face strict constraints on mounting space and power consumption, making it a challenge to improve AI processing performance within limited form factors and power constraints.

To meet this demand, Macnica plans to begin handling the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 2 module and developer kit.

■ Redefining entry-level edge AI performance
The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 2 is a robotics computer that redefines entry-level edge AI performance. With improved Tensor Cores and increased memory bandwidth, it delivers twice the inference performance in the same compact form factor and 40W power budget as the previous NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super. Power efficiency is also improved, reducing power consumption by 40% while maintaining equivalent performance.

■ 78 TOPS of AI performance enables a new class of edge devices.
The NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 2 boasts 78 TOPS (78 trillion operations per second) of AI processing power, 8GB of memory, and an 8-core Arm CPU, significantly boosting AI and image processing capabilities to support the development of devices such as smart drones, robots, and vision AI systems. Furthermore, its compatibility with NVIDIA's open AI software stack, Jetson agent skills, and robust AI ecosystem allows customers to accelerate application development and deployment.

■Implementation support by Macnica
At Macnica, we provide implementation support from engineers with extensive experience supporting NVIDIA products to help our customers succeed in their projects utilizing the NVIDIA Jetson series. For customers considering mass production by integrating the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 2 into their own products, or considering its introduction into their own inference environment, we provide comprehensive support, from hardware support to the utilization of development support software essential for the implementation of NVIDIA products.
