"ReLabo Medical Spa & Stay" is the first hotel facility in the world to receive the highest level of Platinum certification in WELL v2 certification

The Jikeikai General Incorporated Association (headquarters: Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture; Chairman: Tanno Tomohiro; hereinafter referred to as "Jikekai") and Macnica (headquarters: Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City; Representative Director and President: Kazumasa Hara; hereinafter referred to as "Macnica") announced today that "ReLabo Medical Spa & Stay" (operated by Jogakura Kanko Co., Ltd.; hereinafter referred to as "ReLabo"), which opened on July 11, 2024, has become the first hotel facility in the world to achieve the highest level of Platinum ^{* 1} certification under "WELL v2."

ReLabo ^{* 2} is a coined word combining "Re," which means "the concept of returning to the original state," and "Labo," which has the meaning of "laboratory." With the concept of "supporting the wellness lives of travelers around the world," the hotel is a full-fledged wellness hotel with integrated medical care, created by a collaboration between the Jikeikai General Incorporated Association, which has been operating a general hospital and other facilities for around 60 years and providing medical care and welfare services in the local community, and Jogakura Kanko, which operates the Tsuta Onsen Ryokan in Minami Hakkoda, which has a rare hot spring that flows directly from the source, even in Japan.
