If you use the paid Intel Quartus® Prime development software or the paid IP (Intellectual Property) Questa* - Intel® FPGA Edition for Intel® FPGA development, you must purchase a license (right of use) for that product, After that you need to get a license file. When you get a purchased license file for the first time, you must associate the “purchased license” with the “NIC ID (Network Interface Card ID) of the computer that uses the development software or IP”. This procedure is done by the licensee himself/herself on the manufacturer's website "Intel FPGA Self-Service License Center".

Here, we will show you how to link a new license to your computer inthe Self-Service License Center.

There are four work menus.

To obtain the Quartus® Prime license that comes with your Intel® FPGA Development Kit, please click here.

Also, if you would like to obtain a Questa*-Intel® FPGA Starter Edition license for free OEM tools, please visit here.
